Classes in wheel-throwing and hand-building techniques run from Friday, 28 March, with **no class on 25 April (ANZAC Day), and 18 April (Good Friday).**
This class is appropriate for students of all levels. Whether learning the basics or advancing your techniques, you'll receive expert guidance to achieve your goals.
Choose from:
- Wheel throwing: Learn to centre, form, and finish wares on an electric wheel. Beginners can expect to complete 3-5 small bowl or cup shapes. We'll work with intermediate and advanced students to meet specific (or not!) learning goals.
- Hand-building/sculpture: learn manual formation techniques, including pinching, coiling, slab construction, and additive and subtractive sculpture. Expect to complete 3-5 small objects or two larger forms.
Fall Term- Fridays 10am -12:30 pm
The class included tools, storage, glaze materials and firing of up to 2 kilos (additional firing is charged at a rate of $20/kilo). Students will have access to all studio tools and equipment.
This class is designed for adults over the age of 18. Please contact us to inquire about exceptions.
If the organiser cancels the class, you are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
- A refund can be requested no less than 10 days before class starts. An admin fee of AU$50.00 applies.
- A credit note can be requested anytime before the class starts. Free of charge.
No changes will be allowed after these times.

Anyone partaking in classes or attending events organised by Home Clay Studio or at Home Clay Studio must agree to these terms and conditions.

I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and events organised by Home Clay Studio
2.) PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give Home Clay Studio unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Home Clay Studio classes and events or on Home Clay Studio premises. (For use of Home Clay Studio marketing materials).
