Available to all previous students and members at Home. Clay Studio, our drop in classes help you supercharge your learning by signing up for additional classes in any available spots across the extension period (please read 'important details’ below). Take advantage of our guidance and expertise to achieve your making goals, whether it's something specific like nailing your centring technique, or simply to enjoy time working with clay.

Choose from:

  • Wheel throwing (available only to those registered for wheel throwing, or those with prior experience): Follow along with the scheduled curriculum, or focus on your own goals.

  • Hand-building/sculpture (available to all students):  Engage with manual formation techniques, including pinching, coiling, slab construction, and additive and subtractive sculpture. 

 

*IMPORTANT DETAILS:

  • These classes are only available to students who have taken classes at Home. Clay Studio previosuly. Non-students are welcome to join as a guest of past students for HANDBUILDING ONLY.  
  • May sessions are for making only - glazing sessions are booked seperately. 
  • If the minumum number of three students per class is not met within three calenday days of the scheduled class, the class will be cancelled with the option to switch to anothr class, or receive a full refund. Please refer to our cancellation policy for more details.

  • The class included tools, storage, glaze materials and firing of up to 2 kilos (additional firing is charged at a rate of $20/kilo). Students will have access to all studio tools and equipment.
