Classes in wheel-throwing and hand-building techniques run from Friday, 30 January.
Our four-week short course combines all the elements of a full term in a condensed, four-week format and is appropriate for all levels. Whether you're sticking to the basics or advancing your techniques, you'll receive expert guidance to help you achieve your goals.
Choose from:
- Wheel throwing: Learn to centre, form, and finish wares on an electric wheel. Beginners can expect to complete 2-3 small bowl or cup shapes. We'll work with intermediate and advanced students to meet specific (or not!) learning goals.
- Hand-building/sculpture: learn manual formation techniques, including pinching, coiling, slab construction, and additive and subtractive sculpture. Expect to complete 3-5 small objects or 1-2 medium to large forms.
If you miss a class: We make every effort to provide make-up opportunities if space is available in other scheduled classes; otherwise, studio access may be provided in lieu.
